Well I guess Bartlesville got hit by a good snow storm on thursday. No this is not a picture of the snow but of the clouds out the window of the plane I was 'gettin out of town on'. I left home at 5:15 thursday morning and could hardly see on the way into Dewey. It was the kind of blinding snowfall that tends to hypnotize a person. I was surely hoping that I did not have to drive all the way to Tulsa @ 30 mph. Fortunately, it turned to rain about 10 miles out of B'ville. By the way Tanna, just in case you were looking to build our yearly snowman, I am in Albuquerque visiting Brandy. Sorry..... I do hope there will be another good snowman snow.... so we can create!

Was hoping to see around a bit today while Brandy was in school, but... her car had different ideas. It decided to opt for a visit to a mechanic for some reason today. Just when you think you've got the world by the tail! So you know what I spent the day doing, don't ya? Oh well, just glad I was here so I could help her out and she didn't even have to miss school!

Just helped her make cookies shaped like footballs for a SuperBowl party she is going to on Sunday. There went the diet! Tomorrow we will lace them with frosting.... hopefully we will get some of it on the cookies. :)

Last weekend I drove Kansas to see my 98 year old Grandma. Grandma Jo is what everyone has always called her. Ella Josephine is her real name. Had a good visit at her house and helped her to do a lot of things that she can't see to do herself. If you get a birthday card from her in the next few days I might have written you a note in it myself!

I headed home on Monday afternoon and had to stop a few times for photo 'opps' that I thought were kinda interesting. That is what happens when you travel by yourself.... 'ya just do whatever ya want ta'.

I have admired this old tree for many years and have always wanted to stop for pics... so I did. Ended up thinking the fence post was just as nice a subject so maybe I will post nicer pics of the tree some other day. :)

Another one of the things I find interesting are all of the old barns that are still around. The only thing better than photographing them would be to get to crawl through the fence and dig around inside of them. Not interested in doing jail time just yet so I will save that thought for another day.....
Wouldn't this barn be a wonderful background for doing senior pics or something like that????
Better git to bed as I think we might do the Bandelier National Monument tomorrow. Indian Petroglyphs if you are wondering. May do it and may not. Might just be lazy for a change...............
